Mr. Babatunde Samuel Adeyanju has an extensive background in the banking industry, having served over 12 years in Nigeria before transitioning to Sierra Leone in October 2015. He began his career with Guaranty Trust Bank Sierra Leone Limited as a Senior Manager (Expatriate), where he took on roles as both Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Internal Auditor until August 2020. Following this, he joined Sky Bank Sierra Leone Limited as an Assistant General Manager and is currently the Group Head of Compliance and Risk Management.

With over twenty years of banking experience, Adeyanju has held significant leadership positions throughout his career. His expertise spans various areas, including Internal Audit and Control, Operations, Financial Controls, Marketing, and now Compliance and Risk Management.

In addition to his professional work, he has been a dedicated part-time lecturer at the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM), teaching Forensic Accounting to Year 4 (Honors) students since 2018.

Adeyanju is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and holds associate membership with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He has pursued various professional courses related to his field and is well-respected in Sierra Leone, earning multiple awards, including recognition as one of the top 100 most outstanding professionals in the country.
